The Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) was proud to join inspiring corporate and community leaders in Seattle for the 2026 Out & Equal Workplace Summit—the world's largest LGBTQIA+ workplace conference. Centered around this year's theme, “The Power of &,” the event emphasized that organizations do not have to choose between professional excellence and authenticity. True inclusion means honoring cultural identities alongside career ambitions, uniting individual expression with shared experiences, and driving business success while prioritizing human connection.
Representing HACE, Senior Program Managers Berenis Vargas Luna and Noel Rodriguez facilitated a highly engaging workshop titled "Full Spectrum Leadership: Harnessing Colores at the Intersections." The session explored the critical intersections of allyship, intersectionality, and leadership styles, challenging corporate participants to examine how identities and lived experiences shape team collaboration and leadership efficacy. Grounded in Kimberlé Crenshaw’s intersectionality framework and the Colores Framework (drawing from Insights Discovery and Carl Jung), the session focused on three core organizational pillars:
- Know Yourself: Examining the Identity Wheel and individual communication preferences, spanning Cool Blue, Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, and Earth Green.
- Stretch Yourself: Navigating complex workplace scenarios, such as addressing misgendering, supporting inclusive benefits, and fostering psychological safety.
- Support Others: Committing to active, behavior-focused allyship where allyship functions as a verb rather than a passive noun.
Building upon these themes, HACE’s Colores leadership development program provides a comprehensive talent development solution designed to support multicultural LGBTQIA+ professionals and allies. Part of a broader landscape of leadership development programs dedicated to empowering professionals of color—such as HACE's Mujeres de HACE, Elevando Latino Leadership, and ALZA Advanced programs—Colores leverages personalized Insights Discovery evaluations, executive coaching, and peer mentoring to equip emerging leaders with the self-awareness and adaptability needed to drive organizational impact.
Our next cohort launches in Spring 2027, with options for general enrollment or an exclusive corporate partner cohort tailored to your company's talent development goals. Visit HACE Colores for more information.
