Cafecito con HACE: Salvador Mendoza

This week, Cafecito con HACE featured a special guest, newly appointed HACE Board Member, Salvador Mendoza. Salvador is Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at NBCUniversal Media, LLC. 

He is a strong believer in the power of advocacy and in being an agent of change to achieve impactful results within his DEI leadership role. Salvador’s mission is to be intentional with advocating, which he has tirelessly achieved throughout his career trajectory - through non-profits, higher education, hospitality, leading up to his current position in media and entertainment. For Salvador, the rules of engagement are the same across industries.

Salvador shared advice on what professionals looking to embark on a DEI journey can do to be heard and to effectively disrupt the system for changes to be implemented. By showing intention through actions, being an ally, and joining forces with other allies for support, you can establish yourself as a consummate advocate for the community.
